The five-minute evening ritual (that actually sticks)

Cleanse, steam, seal — a wind-down routine short enough to survive real life.

The five-minute evening ritual (that actually sticks)

Every routine we’ve ever abandoned died the same death: too many steps. Here is the one that survived — five minutes, three moves, no willpower required.

Minute one: melt the day off. A scoop of the Honey Cleansing Balm on dry skin, slow circles, no rush. This is the step that switches your head from doing to done — the massage matters as much as the cleanse.

Minutes two and three: warmth. A warm, damp cloth over the face until it cools. On Sundays, upgrade to the full Herbal Facial Steam over a bowl — but the cloth version is the one you’ll actually do on a Tuesday.

Minutes four and five: seal it. Two drops of serum pressed — not rubbed — into damp skin, then the Lavender Sleep Balm on wrists and temples. The ritual ends when the balm goes on; that’s the signal your evening has officially started.

The honest part: consistency beats completeness. The two-minute version done nightly will out-perform the full apothecary shelf done twice a month. Start smaller than feels impressive.

The 'ritual ends when the balm goes on' framing made it a habit in a week. Nothing else ever stuck.

Doing the two-minute version most nights and the full one on Sundays. Skin has noticed.
